Concrete jungles..
Take a look at this:
That red circle, my friends, is the Anglican High School territory. For four whole years i trampled around on it, and know almost every nook and cranny.
Now, check this out:
That, my friends, is my new school, Sing Poly. see the difference??? Its like, HUGE lor, even has its own MRT station! wth... To think i believed AHS was kinda big when i first set foot on it. Now when i walk across the length of SP, i feel like i'm trekking in a concrete jungle. It even has a convention center, not to mention a childcare center, 3 food courts, 1 macdonald's etc etc!.. I feel like i'm in university. eXcept i'm nowhere near.
Hai, after reading Xiaxue's post about JC vs Poly, and the following comments, i'm even more resolute about doing well in poly. Darn. I'm really taking a huge risk in choosing this school. I could have stayed comfortably in sajc sci. heck, I was even chosen to go for some university seminar thing lor.. Very prestigious. It could have looked pretty on my resume. Yet i declined it and made that fateful decision.
Not that i'm regretting my decision even b4 i start school. I'm just psycho-ing myself to do well. All or nothing. Yep. Haiz.
