Haha 2

Due to the adamant insistence of numerous individuals pressuring me to publish a decent blog entry, as opposed to the substandard smatterings of text I have shamelessly passed off as entries in recent days, I shall now cerebrate with sobriety the words that, in a few minutes, will grace the electronic pages of my online diary.

Basikerlly what i say is cos some people ask me to, so i must crack head and update long long lor. Bo pian. Later kena whack. So must think what to say lor.

Er i know.. Church choir!

Yep.. finally got the chance to sing in the church choir after passing the audition 2 months back.. they were delayed cos of Emerge 2005 n some live recordings.

Got the nice choir tag.



Only briefly worn, to give us access to the backstage area when we go down for service. Ok so its a cheap photostat paper slotted into a 30-cent plastic tag holder (behind still got Popular Bookstore price tag), but its an honour enough to hold it =). After all im joining 70+ other people on stage in bringing down the atmosphere of praise and worship into the hall of the 2000-strong congregation =)

Was kinda nervous on stage.. think i gave a very fake-looking plastic smile on stage while always making sure i followed the rest of the choir's movements.. they jump i jump, they clap i clap, they go "WHOOoo!!!" i go "WHOOoo!!!"... If not id stick out like a sore red thumb in front of the camera -_-. lOl. Aiya first time what. I guess i'd be more natural and used to it after a few more services. Haha.

Its definitely quite cool to sing for service from a whole different perspective, looking out to the big crowd spread out in front of me. Heh my eyes were constantly scanning the crowd, hoping to maybe find someone i recognise, get them to notice mE out of 70 others (quite unlikely...) and perhaps give them that "Ha! Im-up-here-and-you're-not!" look.

Well, t'was a great experience. Anyone coming to CHC's services can perhaps look out for mE in svc 5 & 6. HAhahaha.
